About Us

Once upon a time in a little hardcore poster covered bedroom, lived Blake. He and his Mohawk were misunderstood, angsty and didn’t quite know where to fit in. Blake spent his days playing the drums, day dreaming of being on stage along side Slipknot and other metal bands who of course were the only ones to understand his emo little soul.

But what would he wear?! He was neither a goth, an emo, a skater , a surfer…..the list goes on.

Cut to 2014, Blake has a couple more wrinkles and a few less hairs, but a huge imagination and drive to start his own brand. Armed with a knowledge of screen printing, design and mostly determination, Highgate Collective was born. Years later I swept Blake off his feet and we became a team of two; printing and designing everything ourselves in Sydney Australia.

Highgate was originally inspired by Highgate Cemetery and all that is found within it. Love, loss, death and everything in between. We are a collective of those who never fit in and more importantly those who never wanted to.

We love metal, we love each other and we love what we do. Oh and Blake promised me that if we become super famous billionaires that I can have a baby goat , so…help a girl out.
